Minato Kiyomizu wakes from a coma following a car accident. Though once a water polo star in junior high, he's lost three whole years of memories. Abandoning any hope of playing again, he enters Yamanami High School an entire year late.

I'm No Prodigy
Minato learns from Chinu Kawakubo about a promise they made in the past. To fulfill their promise, he decides to join the water polo club, much to the delight of Eitaro Oka and the team captain, Jo Jojima. They utilize his fame to recruit members, but...

But, Give Us a Hendy
Takekazu Ejiri, Yutaka Babayaro Inomata, and Yoshiharu Ushimado join the club, but it needs one last person to make seven for a regulation team. They ask Shugo Amihama, who swam in junior high, but he refuses. When they persist, Shugo makes a proposal.

This Ain't Looking Good
Amihama stubbornly refuses to join, but a certain something changes his mind and Yamanami's Water Polo Club is officially underway. Despite the team struggling with the basics, they find themselves playing their first practice match.

Dude, That's Scary
During the training match against the juniors, Yamanami's team begins to understand why water polo is seen as a combat sport.

Hey! Look This Way
The Yamanami club are hosting an intensive training camp during Golden Week with the aim of securing their first victory in the departmental tournament in July.

Auspicious Day
Yamanami's captain offers to create a jog that would be unique to their team. However, Amihama seems to stick to her personal joggers and refuses to change them.

Who Are These Guys?
Minato finds out what kind of person he used to be from a video from an old game. He decides to ask Chinu for more details in order to find out the truth, which will leave him speechless.

I've Always Been Me
Eitarō tries to convince Minato to continue water polo in Yamanami. Unfortunately, the latter refuses, furious at not being the mainstay of Shogakukan and constantly being compared to who he was before.

It's the Only Way I Know to Win
A month before the departmental tournament, Minato takes the reins of training, while following his own particular program in order to find his former form.

Pass! Pass to Me!
Yamanami's team nervously enter the county tournament. Minato intends to fulfill his leading role, but that's not counting on the Rikka Academy and its offensive strategy.

C'mon, Let's Get Started
It's finally time for their second match of prefecturals--the long-awaited showdown with Shogakukan. Minato, Eitaro, Jo, Amihama, Ejiri, Babayaro, and Ushimado join their seven hearts as one and challenge the best team in Japan.
