Episode 3

Competitive cousins Joe and Alex are taking to the kitchen today. Both have experienced sight loss problems. Joe managed to undergo surgery that put a halt to his sight degeneration, but sadly Alex lost his vision completely. They both love to cook, and Alex has had to adjust to cooking without his sight using some nifty kitchen gadgets which he shows to Rylan. His amazing guide dog River watches on from the audience. Paired with two amazing chefs - cool, calm and collected Mike Reid and spice queen Romy Gill - things are sure to heat up in the kitchen today.

The series centers on these two parallel love stories set in two different time periods, with Jamie's parents in the early 18th-century Scottish Highlands and Claire's parents in WWI England.
