China
Feeling responsible for the Spanish Flu outbreak in the U.S, David exiles himself to China, where the People's Republic Army kidnaps him to investigate a deadly disease. They discover an ancient bacterium in the village's water system is causing the outbreak. David is shocked when one scientist tests the antidote on herself. A horrific attack takes place at the International AIDS conference.

Escape Mutant
David searches for a drug cocktail to save a pregnant woman and her unborn baby. Induced into labor at 26 weeks, Audrey has progressed to AIDS and exposed her baby to the virus. Carlos is exposed to painful memories of his time in Africa as he attempts to trace the new strain of HIV to Patient Zero. Mayko investigates a link between IQ spikes and Mad Cow disease.

The Cocktail
With less than two days to discover a drug cocktail that will prevent a premature baby from becoming HIV positive, David encounters several bureaucratic roadblocks, as the drug is unapproved. Carlos continues to research the new super strain of HIV with former colleagues in Africa. Mayko and Simon's investigation leads them to the United States. Their results are brilliant and devastating.

Dim & Dimmer
In New York, David discovers an underground community of homeless people living in an abandoned subway tunnel. When some of the inhabitants share symptoms of a mysterious illness, David begins to investigate. Back at NorBAC, Jill claims to have found a cure for juvenile diabetes from an unsanctioned line of Korean stem cells. Caroline's nephew begins to show some signs of response.

Massive Change
Protests erupt outside NorBAC when Jill discovers the unsanctioned cells she used may be infected with a retrovirus, compromising her potential cure for juvenile diabetes Two critically ill homeless people's symptoms remain a mystery. The U.S. Government may be responsible for the devastation of 1500 acres of orange groves in Florida. David gets devastating news from his father in Vancouver.

Our Man in Havana
While dealing with his mother's recent death in British Columbia, David travels to Cuba to investigate the claim of an exiled Cuban millionaire who believes to be a victim of bio-terrorism. David speculates a conspiracy is being concocted by the U.S. to justify the invasion of Cuba. Bob enlists the help of a neuroscientist to determine Glenn's prognosis.

Talk to Him
In Cuba, David and Carlos uncover information that points to a possible bio-terrorist plot. The President of the U.S. immediately blames Cuba for the damaged orange groves. Jill confirms that the Korean stem cell line is contaminated with a virus, which she must prove to be harmless before her ground-breaking results can move forward. Glenn fails to respond to surgery but delivers one last message

Haze
Combined with toxic emissions from a nearby volcano, a menacing brown cloud forms over Mexico City. Bob must convince Mexican officials of the gravity of the situation before catastrophe strikes. In the U.S., Homeland Security monitors two scientists believed to be a threat to the president. David feels the investigation unwarranted, though Caroline can't shake the feeling that something is wrong.

Gene in a Bottle
An investigation into a cluster of suicides in the southern United States uncovers an unnatural enzyme causing sudden and severe depression. Meanwhile, David attempts to decipher the secret project of a friend who died in a car accident. In Mexico City, Bob must neutralize the Asian Brown Cloud before it rains deadly sulfuric acid. David gives Owen one more chance to clean up his act.

The Wild and the Innocent
Autopsies on a dead deer suggest that worms from parasitic eggs are responsible for a recent spike in depression-related suicides in the Southern U.S. But are the parasites are coming from the deer, humans or a third source? Jill becomes contaminated with a retrovirus and is forced into quarantine. Owen is charged with criminal negligence when a young girl dies of a crystal meth overdose.

Fishy
Several children on the East Coast are becoming ill and NorBAC must unravel a genetic mystery as fish on a fish farm start exhibiting dangerous, unexpected mutations. The team works on an anti-parasitic drug after tracing the spike in suicide rates in Arkansas. A new looming crisis appears in Washington, as an entire National Guard unit has fallen unconscious and can't be woken up.

Lethargica
NorBAC uses innovative scientific methods to track the source of mutating radiation that is affecting fish on the East Coast to radioactive fuel rods dumped into the Ocean in the 1950s. Jill is rushed to the hospital, where her symptoms are found to match those of the deteriorating U.S soldiers. David considers a radical treatment for his father in the early stages of Alzheimer's.

The End
After receiving the lethargica antidote Jill and the U.S National Guardsmen seem to be recovering, until the Guardsmen are plagued with a secondary, more deadly infection. Caroline believes her superiors aren't telling her everything about the lethargica outbreak and gets dangerously close to unearthing a conspiracy that may go as deep as the White House.
