Reggie Perrin is feeling frustrated and alienated after ten years working at Groomtech. With his wife Nicola too busy for him, he becomes besotted with new colleague Jasmine.

Episode 2
With both Reggie's mother and Nicola's father interfering in his marriage, and his inability to get on with people at work, Reggie Perrin finds himself taking a step too far with Jasmine.

Episode 3
Reggie enjoys teaching at Nicola's school in his search to find a new focus in his life. He invites the class to spend a day at Groomtech, with disastrous consequences.

Episode 4
When Reggie goes to Helsinki on a business trip with Jasmine, his marriage to Nicola faces its sternest test. Meanwhile, Chris has concerns that Reggie is faltering.

Episode 5
Chris seeks Reggie's help as he struggles to convince the Groomtech board that he is the right man for the job.

Episode 6
Reggie's crisis comes to a head as Groomtech holds its office party. Can Reggie Perrin take any more?
