Episode 1
A 90-minute season premier kicks off from Washington, DC, as four teams embark on the journey of a lifetime to complete challenges, find family, and win $50,000. The teams discover a new twist in travel plans, make unexpected family connections, and uncover a mysterious first-place prize.

Episode 2
Extreme challenges come into play as the teams navigate through different parts of the country. Most significantly, a memory challenge proves costly for three of the teams.

Episode 3
Michael and Dylan get lost in an escape room, Troy and Nicole confront wildfires, and one team begins to separate from the pack. The mysterious gold coin continues to show up and baffle the teams, and a face in a puzzle has all four teams scrambling to find relatives.

Episode 4
A darts challenge takes hand-eye coordination to a new level, a UPS driver helps Michael and Dylan stay on course, and Troy meets a relative who provides shocking information about his personal quest to find his father.

Episode 5
Pumpkin-carving, joke-telling, and foreign foods send the competitors into a frenzy. Troy meets Wonder Woman, Michael finds a like-minded relative, and one team now has a target on their backs.

Episode 6
Blindfolds and clay sculpting put the teams' artistic talents to the test, and a sudden rule change makes navigation even harder. Michael's relative shows him a family picture that changes everything, and Troy finally finds an emotional answer to his biggest family mystery.

Episode 7
As routes intersect on both coasts, challenges put the teams face-to-face. Michael continues the search for his mother, and Rebecca makes her most emotional connection yet.

Episode 8
Troy and Nicole act their way out of a tricky challenge, Michael meets someone that will change his life forever, and now that three of the teams have two strikes, football could be the difference between moving on or heading home.

Episode 9
Hockey, surfing, and bocce ball all play a role in who goes on to compete for $50,000. And with only three teams remaining, a critical navigation error could send another team packing.

Episode 10
The remaining teams compete for the grand prize of $50,000.

The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one-third of the time. Good luck, Bill!
