The prime minister, leading politicians, representatives from governments of the Commonwealth, the Armed Forces and faith leaders joined thousands of veterans for the Two Minute Silence, the National Service of Commemoration and the traditional March Past to commemorate the sacrifice of the British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts.
