Season 1
In Season One, a doctor escaping her past joins the Royal Flying Doctor Service on a day when a catastrophic emergency retrieval hits the team personally. Together they deal with the fallout, all while continuing their highly skilled work, fighting the clock and the elements to save people having the worst day of their lives.

Eliza questions her decision to come out to Australia, as Pete's simmering resentment towards her comes to a head during a tense mid-air birth.

When a seven-year-old boy goes missing in the outback, it's a race against time to find him as the RFDS is called to help his injured father.

Episode 4
In the midst of a massive dust storm, the RFDS face a harrowing retrieval when a patient takes a critical turn, mid-air, and the team struggle to keep him alive.

Episode 5
When a remote bush retrieval turns violent, the RFDS are caught in the crosshairs but still have to race the light and get all patients in the air before the plane becomes grounded for the night.

Episode 6
A suicidal patient and a frantic medevac to Adelaide forces Wayne to confront his personal struggles on the job.

Episode 7
When a catastrophic explosion at an underground mine creates a mass-casualty incident, the RFDS are called to save the lives of two brothers caught in the blast.

Episode 8
As the RFDS fundraising ball gets underway, Pete is overnighted at a remote clinic where the seemingly straightforward case of a boy with a concussion turns into a potentially fatal situation.
