A bomb threat scares the whole school - except Rita. Hjørdis worries that her and Uffe's strange hobbies will hurt their son socially when he's older.

Lea invites Rita to join her family for dinner, echoing a day in 1985 when teenage Rita had dinner with Lea's parents and was called to Lea's rescue.

When one of Rita's first-graders doesn't want to take a turn bringing home "Sharebear," the class teddy bear, she visits his home to find out why.

To try to save the school from closure, the staff organizes a fundraiser, including a play by Hjørdis's class with Allan in the lead role.

Bjarne can't bear to break the bad news to his staff and becomes self-destructive. The event in 1985 that led to Lea falling out with Rita is revealed.

When history starts to repeat itself, Rita retreats in self-defeat, until a loyal friend gives her the support she needs to figure out her future.
