This drama follows modern-day woman Chu Ci and the time-traveling poet sage Du Fu on a dreamlike journey. Bound together by fate after an accidental fall into the water, Chu Ci must wait for Du Fu to return to the past before she can regain her freedom. From exploring Chengdu and revisiting the Thatched Cottage to visiting Wuhou Shrine and ascending Mount Emei, their travels lead to a deepening friendship. Along the way, their perspectives on society and life quietly evolve. Through their relentless trials as fated companions, Chu Ci rediscovers her path in life, while Du Fu finds resolution and uncovers his own boundless world and greater truth.
