The Stilton cheese-rolling tournament is the first port of call as the actor tackles the second leg of his journey, which includes Burton-on-Trent, Mountsorrel and the Pennine village of Mytholmroyd. He also visits England's oldest sweet shop in Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire, and stops off at the Wray scarecrow festival in Lancashire, which attracts more than 10,000 people annually.

She's Ready To Blow!
On the final leg of his epic road trip, the actor visits the Lake District and Northumbria, then continues on to Dumfries and Galloway, before finally reaching his home city of Glasgow. En route he encounters devotees of Cumberland and Westmorland wrestling, stops off at Lake Windermere to meet Donald Campbell's daughter Gina and visits England's strangest listed building - a pigeon loft.
