Another Chinese New Year is here, but Qiu Feifei, who is urged to get married, is not looking forward to it. In order to spend the New Year in peace, Qiu Feifei spends a lot of money to rent a boyfriend for three days. Ji Xuan, her rented boyfriend from the acting department, puts up a great act, and Feifei's mother becomes increasingly satisfied with this son-in-law. When Ji Xuan is about to leave, an unexpected situation keeps him in the Qiu family. To prevent being exposed, the two renew the agreement with strict terms. As their friend Jin Mingming and her boyfriend joins this situation, the four become engaged in frequent battles of wits, with the initiative constantly being shuffled around, staging one joyful farce after another.
