Ronan Keating's Wild Atlantic - Season 1

Season 1
Episodes

Cork
Ronan begins his Wild Atlantic journey in the county of Cork, Ireland's southernmost and largest county. He meets up with his nephew Ruairí, and it doesn't take long for the Keating competitive spirit to reveal itself. Together, they face off in the ancient sport of road bowling along the back roads of the port town of Castletown-Bearhaven. Ronan also gets the chance to go foraging for wild edible plants in an enormous rewilding project area, and on the stunning Beara Peninsula, he visits the country's first Tibetan Buddhist temple and retreat centre.

Kerry
Kerry is known as The Kingdom in Ireland, and it's Ronan's next stop on his Wild Atlantic journey. He joins his big brother Gary on the stunning Lough Leane in Killarney for a fishing trip, one that they first went on together 40 years ago. He also meets a couple who make traditional handcrafted leather items and gets to work on a guitar strap, before running onto the pitch at Dr Crokes GAA club to play some hurling – the fastest field sport in the world.

Mayo to Sligo
Ronan Keating continues his epic journey along Ireland's Wild Atlantic coast. He makes an emotional trip across the waves with his nephew Conall to Clare Island, a special place for the entire Keating family. They get to grips with a traditional loom, before Ronan heads for Sligo to meet up with a fellow boyband veteran, Shane Filan of Westlife, for some horse riding on the golden sands of Strandhill Beach.

Donegal
Ronan travels north for the next stop of his Wild Atlantic journey. He grabs his leathers and his helmet, and jumps on his motorbike to explore the north west coast with his great friend, the artist Terry Bradley.
He also does some fossil hunting to find the materials to make some extraordinary jewellery, and he doesn't miss a chance to get on stage to duet with singer Claudia Buckley in one of Donegal's buzzing country music venues.

Derry/Londonderry
Ronan completes this leg of his journey along Ireland's Wild Atlantic in County Derry/Londonderry. He walks the 400-year-old walls of the city of Derry/Londonderry with comedian Diona Doherty and hits the farm to find out just what it takes to be a competitive sheep herder, before heading for the windswept coastline of Castlerock to meet a skilled craft worker who builds traditional coracle boats by hand.

Wild Cards
Wild Cards follows the unlikely duo of a gruff, sardonic cop and a spirited, clever con woman. Ellis, a demoted detective, has unfortunately spent the last year on the maritime unit, while Max has been living a transient life elaborately scamming everyone she meets. But when Max gets arrested and ends up helping Ellis solve a local crime, the two are offered the opportunity to redeem themselves, with Ellis going back to detective and Max staying out of jail. The catch? They have to work together, with each using their unique skills to solve crimes. For Ellis, that means hard-boiled shoe leather police work; for Max, it means accents, schemes and generally befriending everyone in sight, while driving Ellis absolutely nuts. Against the backdrop of beautiful Vancouver — with all its unique, charming, and even contradictory neighbourhoods and subcultures — the two will have to learn what it means to trust another person and maybe actually become partners.
