Episode 1
In the all-new RPA, we meet actor James who, after suffering persistent headaches, is sent for an MRI of his brain which reveals multiple aneurysms which could burst at any time. We also we meet Joelene, a 43-year-old mother-of-three from Warren in regional NSW.

Episode 2
In this episode of the RPA, we are reunited with Joelene who has recently undergone marathon surgery to remove a recurrence of a rare type of cancer. We also meet Theo, a restauranteur who when recovering from Covid needed a chest x-ray that shockingly reveals a fist sized mass.

Episode 3
Amy, a 44-year-old mother from Orange is confronted with a life-changing diagnosis of a rare abdominal cancer- only discovered by chance when trying for a second baby.

Episode 4
In this episode, 25-year-old adventurer and rock climber John has hit the limits of survival from his lifelong liver disease . Without a transplant, his devoted family will lose him within months.

Episode 5
Tracy, a single mum of two teenagers, faces a life and death battle as her rare and aggressive brain cancer returns. We also meet Kylie, the coordinator of the RPA team revolutionising emergency stroke care.

Episode 6
When Kyle's first kidney transplant, from an organ donated by his older brother, fails, he miraculously gets a second chance at life when sister Jess offers to donate one of hers.

Episode 7
Nurse Sharon's life is turned upside down when she is diagnosed with colorectal cancer. Putting her symptoms down to ageing, she is surprised she missed some obvious signs and faces a lengthy and complex operation to remove the cancer.

Episode 8
University student Jack presents suffering a potentially life threating collapse of his lung, known as a pneumothorax. The ED swing into action knowing there's no time to waste and that this is one of the true emergencies of Emergency Medicine.
