Pilot
After Paul Rader is wrongly accused of murder and his family threatened by the real killer, he takes his wife Lily and their three children, Henry, Hannah and Tommy on the run, leaving everything they own behind. While Federal Agent Huntley and her team pursue Paul, the family assumes new identities in a small town in Iowa and attempt to blend in as a close loving family, something they have never been. Henry battles with his father over forcing them to leave their old life behind, while Hannah is secretly thrilled at the chance to start over and try on a new identity.

Identity Crisis
Paul establishes contact with Tannen, the man who sent him the ominous text message, and heads off to Chicago to meet him for information on Erin's murder but is sidelined when he sees a handcuffed Henry being escorted into the police station. Meanwhile, Hannah gets drunk and tells her new friends her family's secret.

Mr. Rader Goes to Washington
Paul discovers a key that may hold the answers to Erin's murder and heads back to Washington D.C. to investigate while Lily takes a job at the hospital so she can steal asthma medicine for Tommy. After realizing their father doesn't have a proper fake I.D. to fly to Washington D.C., Henry and Hannah team up to help obtain fake documents for everyone. Meanwhile, Tommy learns about self-sacrifice.

Homecoming
Hoping to help Brady pass a class so he can play in the homecoming football game, Hannah trades his English paper for one of her old ones then panics when the teacher accuses Brady of plagiarism. Henry comes to the end of his patience with Jake, and Paul fears someone may have followed him back from Washington D.C.

Father Figure
Gina tells Paul and Lily she has been in hiding from her abusive ex-husband Randy, who has suddenly shown up in Bridgewater looking to take Jake home with him. While Paul and Lily help Gina with her plans to escape, Henry warms up to Randy, until he puts Henry and Jake in danger. Meanwhile, Hannah and Amber crash a college frat party.

Liar, Liar
Looking to spend one final weekend together before ending their relationship, Henry secretly meets up with Kylie while she is on a school trip in St. Louis. Both Henry and Kylie are unaware the FBI has followed her there. Meanwhile, Brady confesses his feelings to Hannah and they share a kiss. Paul heads back to Chicago to follow a lead and Lily fears Gina may know their secret.

Turn, Turn, Turn
As their world is turned upside down when the U.S. Marshals use Henry's girlfriend to contact them, Paul and Lily uncover evidence that suggests lawyer Lloyd Cunningham was involved with Erin's murder.

There's No Place Like Home
A tornado puts Tommy's life in danger and threatens to expose the Rader family's secret.

End Game
Paul's efforts to get Cunningham to reveal what he knows about Erin's murder spawns a surprising confession that leaves the Rader family facing the most difficult decision of their lives.
