Lundy
Richard starts his journey sampling the good life in Lundy before finding his sea legs with a Port Isaac fisherman. In Wales, he discovers unique lamb farmed on a saltmarsh and relives his childhood years at the seaside. Richard then travels to the heart of the forecast area - the island that gave it its name - to explore Lundy's incredible wildlife tGhat thrives in its isolation. His journey ends back in Cornwall where he joins homegrown celebrities for a sea shanty in the harbour.

Faeroes
Richard experiences survival against the odds in the shipping forecast area of Faeroes, situated halfway between Scotland and Iceland. He goes line fishing with a third-generation fisherman and discovers how a strong faith has helped the community weather all kinds of storms, and gets a unique singing lesson from the lead singer of doom metal band Hamferð.

Wight
Richard enjoys a Wight good time at Cowes Week racing regatta, tests out his seven-star service skills at a superyacht school and joins the fast-paced life onboard a Border Force cutter.

The Thames
Richard meets the rebels and risk takers of the shipping forecast area of the Thames, revisiting his youth as a member of the Communards when he visits Radio Caroline. He also explores the Old Royal Naval College, where he has his first ever sailing lesson. Venturing north to Harwich, Richard meets the maritime pilot bringing one of the world's biggest container ships into port.

FROM
