Sakristan - Season 1

Season 1
As the world becomes increasingly accepting of the many forms of romance, here comes a distinctive tale of love that is bound to sweep across the only Christian country in Asia

Episodes

Touch-Move
The touch-move rule in chess specifies that, if a player deliberately touches a piece on the board when it is their turn to move, then they must move or capture that piece if it is legal to do so. If it is the player's piece that was touched, it must be moved and must continue the play whatever result may be. A lot like love. A lot like life. A careless act will lead you to do things out of your way. But sometimes, that unexpected turn, that unfamiliar route, can bring you to a much favorable position. And it's up to you to make the most out of it. Sakristan's first episode is about choosing between FATE and FAITH.

Bangkok
Bangkok is the capital city of Thailand where the BL series originated. It is the cradle of the phenomenal genre that is "Boy's Love". If love is a country, its capital city will definitely be Friendship. In this episode, we will look back at our precious high school moments that introduced us to our friends, through successes and struggles, making us realize how important it is for every relationship to become invested in friendship first before it can ripe into love. Sakristan's Second Episode shall discuss the different angles of LOVE and FRIENDSHIP

Cuerdas
The Courage of a String. Sakristan's 3rd Episode entitled Cuerdas contains scenes, dialogues, and a throwback that answers questions about how Zach and Christian's relationship came into being before the series resets to its "present time" narrative. Courage and Truth will be the resonating tune in this part of the series; a relatable subject for Filipinos who are afraid to dance to the rhythm of love.

Thick and White
"Thick and White" is thick with controversies surrounding Zach and Christian as they explore each other in an intimately passionate first. Prior to the encounter, Christian, a self-confessed noob on the subject, gets tutored by his outrageously eager friends on the basics of same-sex intercourse. Along the way, the couple learns not only the physical know-hows but more importantly, the emotional bonds that make a relationship stronger, more exciting and more rewarding. Thick and white is filled with metaphorical musings about the art of love-making. Like a thick and white rice porridge, love requires the right temperature, a harmony of ingredients, and the appetite, if not hunger, to consume it with pleasure.

Barong
"Barong" is an embroidered long-sleeved formal shirt for men and the national dress of the Philippines. This reflects the skin of each character, showing their true colors and representation.

The Goddess
"The Goddess" shall shed light to the undeniable power of forgiveness and acceptance after a series of devastating turn of events for Christian, he finds himself looking for answers and this hunt for peace led him to a wonderful journey of unexpected healing. Sakristan Episode 6 is an elaborate discussion of Love, Closure and Continuation.

The Wall
"The Wall", with 3 powerful conversations from 3 key players of the series, this episode will shed light about moving on, self-forgiveness and above-all the real importance of LOVE in the midst of sorrow.

Amen
The Finale Episode of #Sakristan is entitled "Amen"; a word that is always uttered at the end of every prayer meaning "so be it".
This chapter in the lives of #ZaChristian will discuss the importance of "Respect"; Respect towards others and their own ordeals, Respect towards decisions and personal happiness and above all, Respect to one's self and humanity. The Finalé guarantees no closure, just new possibilities and chances waiting to unfold far from our eyes.
