Christine (la victime)
Autumn 1988. Christine, a hairdresser in the small north eastern town of Mauberge in France, is violently sexually assaulted on her way to work early one morning. Regaining consciousness and comforted by her sister, she bravely attends her local police station to report the incident.
A powerful drama series based on the real events of an almost 30-year failure of police to identify a serial rapist whose crimes spanned decades.

Irène (la juge)
In 1996, investigating judge Irene realises that a case she has been assigned has striking similarities with others, and that a thorough investigation is imperative.

Arlette (la maire)
In 2003, the mayor of a small town on the Sambre is horrified to learn one of her employees has been raped. She cajoles the victim into attending a press conference.

Cécile (la scientifique)
In 2007, following a series of rapes committed on the other side of the border, a university researcher is tasked with trying to analyse where the rapist might live.

Winckler (le commandant)
Winter 2012. Etienne Winckler, a detective specialising in cold cases, is handed the old 'Sambre rapist' case to see if it can be closed. As he pours over files at the local police archives he discovers more victims - including Christine.

Enzo (le violeur)
In 2018, Enzo Salina has finally made a mistake and been captured on CCTV. As his arrest is made known, his friends, family and community react in disbelief.

The Terror
The Terror is an American anthology television series exploring historical speculative fiction based on true events.
The series is named after Dan Simmons's 2007 novel, which serves as the basis for the first season and is a fictionalized account of Captain Sir John Franklin's lost expedition to the Arctic in 1845–1848.
The second season, subtitled Infamy, bears no relation to the book or first season and is mostly set in an American-run Japanese internment camp during World War II.

Shōgun
Shōgun is set in Japan in the year 1600 at the dawn of a century-defining civil war. Lord Yoshii Toranaga is fighting for his life as his enemies on the Council of Regents unite against him, when a mysterious European ship is found marooned in a nearby fishing village.
