Sanningen - Season 1

Iris Broman is the new manager of the Kalla Fall group in Malmö. She has just broken up from her old life in Stockholm and moved into her half-sister's house by the sea in Ystad. On the same day that Iris starts her new job, a skull is found in the forest.

The cold case investigation into Benjamin's disappearance continues. Iris and Jens succeed in uncovering new leads despite Kerstin's reluctance to continue working on the case. Iris dreams of her dead husband and can't help but update herself on how the murder investigation is going.

Iris gets angry that Katti's problems spill over to her. At work, the collaboration with Kerstin sizzles, but Iris refuses to let go of the Benjamin case. A medium contacts the police and claims that there is a valuable clue at the discovery site.

Iris is in Stockholm to identify a suspect for Christian's murder. Her former colleague Adam gets into trouble when Iris goes too far and gets involved in the investigation. The Benjamin case is packed up and placed once more on the shelf.

Iris comes back to Malmö and resumes the investigation about Benjamin. Iris gets into a fight with Kattis and checks into a hotel to be alone, but the memories of Christian torment her. A tattoo forms a hot trail that leads on to Denmark.

End of season. Iris can't let go of the Benjamin case and all of a sudden several pieces fall into place. Can the case be solved after all, after all these years? Kattis makes Iris realize the truth about Christian and the sisters reevaluate their relationship.
