Pilar
Pilar arrives at the Sanctuary, a maternity center surrounded by nature, where she soon experiences strange visions and discovers disturbing coincidences with other women. She suspects that the place hides a dark secret related to pregnancies.

Amarillo y negro
A month after her arrival at the Sanctuary, Pilar experiences nightmares and disturbing presences, which increase when she witnesses a strange collapse in another patient and discovers unexplained details about the place. When she tries to investigate, she is chased and forcibly tranquilized, but then manages to escape with Rocío until they discover evidence that they have been there before. When they are discovered, Valle and Víctor decide to urgently expel them from the "project."

Valle
Valle attends an interview at the Sanctuary, where she is told that she needs to improve the gestation incubators for artificial intelligences in simulated bodies of pregnant women, a project that defies the law and seeks to eradicate side effects in the population. Although hesitant, Valle decides to accept the position after consulting with an artificial intelligence that recreates her deceased father.

Conejo blanco
Valle begins her work at the Sanctuary, where she discovers the disturbing truth about hybrid births; upon discovering this, Pilar is captured and her memories will be erased.

Auttrac
In a flashback, Valle and her friends get into trouble when they activate an old train, leading the authorities to move them to an upper sector. In the present, the government decides to interrupt the Sanctuary project and extract the babies; Valle tries to save Pilar and Rocio, but Rocio is disconnected while Valle and Pilar manage to escape with the unexpected help of Victor.

In a flashback, Valle recalls his stormy college relationship with Daniel and Bosco, working on an initial hybrid. In the present, he flees with Pilar, who discovers that her memories are false; after several chases, they manage to escape to Daniel's bunker, while Valle loses the last connection with his father, whose bot is finally erased.

El exterior
On their risky journey to the bunker, Valle and Pilar traverse a hostile wasteland, facing environmental and assaulting dangers. Once in the bunker, Valle meets up with Silvia and Bosco, who are experimenting with artificial wombs on women. Bosco wants to remove Pilar's uterus to obtain key data, but Valle doubts his intentions.

Sarum
Valle plans to flee the bunker with Pilar, who still doesn't understand the danger she's in. During the escape, Bosco severely injures Valle, and she uses a code phrase to activate Pilar's defense abilities, who eliminates him and moves on. Valle sacrifices himself so Pilar can survive with her baby, and, once in Sector 6, Pilar downloads Valle's imprint into her mind, starting a new life with her child.
