Sarah Beeny's Little House, Big Plans - Season 1

Season 1

Episodes

Episode 1
This first episode features hair salon receptionist Leah and her landscaper and builder husband Sam, who have plans to double the size of their two-bedroom cottage in Wiltshire. Damion visits Sam and Matt, who have transformed their traditional three-bed home with the addition of an ultra-modern cubist extension. He also meets David and Lindsay in Bristol, whose big plans were to build a sustainable, eco-house on a brownfield site.

Episode 2
The property expert and her co-presenter, architect Damion Burrows, visit small homes across the United Kingdom whose owners have elaborate plans for expansion. Julia and Maktuno have moved into their three-bed Victorian end terrace in Stoke Newington, east London, secured at a good price. However, years of neglect and structural decay had ravaged the entire house and they face financial ruin and a whole new floor. In Birmingham, Damion meets Matt and Becki, who have reinvented their small traditional house into a `wow factor" home with help from an architect.

Episode 3
The property expert meets Marie, who has lived in south London all her life. She now wishes to downsize from the family home to buy a house in Jamaica as well as keep a UK home. Marie's flat was once part of a spacious Victorian house, but was converted into flats. However, her dream to open up her ground-floor flat and make it into an open-plan space has been frustrated by a shortage of tradespeople and supplies. Damion Burrows visits Ralph, who wants to turn a two-car garage into a super-stylistic cube home, and meets Kelly and Stephen who took on the mammoth task of converting their entire home.

Episode 4
The property expert meets novice DIYers Chrissy and Nick from Poole, Dorset, who jumped into the property market when they acquired a pokey three-bed 1930s outdated semi. They want to create more space by reconfiguring the area to create an open-plan kitchen-diner, though with their budget spent are attempting to finance their renovations from pay cheque to pay cheque. In London, Damion visits Graham and Stephen who had big plans to bring the outside in, so transformed their Victorian terrace into a modern spacious home with an indoor garden.

Episode 5
The property expert meets Becca and Dan, who three years ago decided to make the move away from urban Cardiff to an idyllic spot in the countryside. Since then, they have gutted their house, tearing down every wall to make way for a new extension. However, the project has taken over a year with the family forced to move into a cramped cabin in the garden. With baby number two due, Dan brings in his father to help them get over the line. Also featured are Carolyn and Simon, who have taken their love of pop art as the inspiration for their super bold kitchen renovation.

Episode 6
The property expert meets psychotherapist Tim, fashion designer Tiff and their daughter Tia, who wish to convert a garage into a two-bed flat to rent out in Bosbury, Herefordshire. Covid has had an enormous impact on the family income and their aspirations, so Sarah suggests quite a radical change to their plans. In Wales, Damion Burrows meets Rhys and Shannon, who have been unconventional by losing space to create space in their ultra-modern home. He also meets Emma and Mike, who fell in love with a view so much that they turned their entire home around so that they could make the most of it.
