Saturday Night Live - Season 50

"Saturday Night Live" launches its milestone 50th season on Sept. 28 with Jean Smart hosting for the first time. The six-time Emmy Award winner just won her third Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on "Hacks," streaming on Max.
 
Jelly Roll makes his musical guest debut. Currently on tour, the Grammy Award-nominated artist's new album, "Beautifully Broken," will be released Oct. 11.

Nate Bargatze makes his second appearance as "SNL" host on Oct. 5. Bargatze's "The Be Funny Tour" continues this fall with dates nationwide. 
 
Coldplay performs as musical guest for the eighth time. The band's 10th studio album, "Moon Music," will be released Oct. 4

Ariana Grande hosts "SNL" for the second time on Oct. 12. Following this year's release of her latest album, "Eternal Sunshine," the Grammy winner next stars in "Wicked," in theaters Nov. 22.
 
Stevie Nicks marks her second appearance as musical guest, following her first appearance in 1983. Nicks is a Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee.

Michael Keaton returns to host "SNL" for the fourth time on Oct. 19. The award-winning actor stars in "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice," currently in theaters, and "Goodrich," in theaters on Oct. 18. 
 
Billie Eilish takes the stage as musical guest for the fourth time. The Grammy-winning artist will launch a worldwide tour this fall, supporting her newest album, "HIT ME HARD AND SOFT."

John Mulaney hosts for the sixth time on Nov. 2. The Emmy winner stars in the new Broadway play, "All In: Comedy About Love," opening Dec. 11.
 
Chappell Roan makes her musical guest debut. Her album, "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess," has spent nine weeks in the Top 5 on the Billboard 200, and her latest single, "Good Luck, Babe!," has amassed nearly 1 billion streams.

Bill Burr returns to host "Saturday Night Live" for the second time on Nov. 9. The Emmy and Grammy Award nominee is currently on tour with his "Bill Burr Live" show. 

Mk.gee performs as a musical guest for the first time. He is currently on a world tour with his critically acclaimed debut album, "Two Star & The Dream Police."

Charli xcx does double duty on Nov. 16 in her first appearance as "SNL" host and third appearance as musical guest. The Grammy-nominated musician released her remix album, "Brat and It's Completely Different but Also Still Brat," earlier this month.

"Gladiator II" star Paul Mescal hosts the Dec. 7 episode featuring musical guest Shaboozey. Both appear for the first time.

Chris Rock returns on Dec. 14 for his fourth time as SNL Host. The actor-comedian was a cast member from 1990 to 1993, and previously hosted in November 1996, November 2014, and October 2020. Rock is joined by The Secret of Us singer Gracie Abrams, making her SNL debut as Musical Guest. 

Martin Short returns for his third time as individual host — and fifth overall — on Dec. 21. He was a cast member for one season — from 1984 to 1985 — and returned the following year, in 1986, to host with his Three Amigos! co-stars Chevy Chase and Steve Martin. Short hosted solo in December 1996 and December 2012 and then returned in December 2022 to co-host with his Only Murders in the Building co-star, Steve Martin.

Hozier is the musical guest, his second time performing on SNL. The "Too Sweet" singer celebrates the December 6 release of Unreal Unearth: Unending, the deluxe version of his hit 2023 album, Unreal Unearth.

"Saturday Night Live" will return Jan. 18 with Dave Chappelle making his fourth appearance as host. The Emmy Award winner's latest special, "Dave Chappelle: The Dreamer," is nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album.

GloRilla will make her musical guest debut. The multi-platinum selling artist received two Grammy nominations this year for her hit single "Yeah Glo!"

Timothée Chalamet will return for his third time hosting "SNL" and first time as musical guest. Chalamet has received SAG, Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award nominations for his performance as Bob Dylan in "A Complete Unknown," now in theaters.

Shane Gillis will host "Saturday Night Live" for the second time on March 1. Gillis is the star and co-creator of the series "Tires," which returns this year for its second season on Netflix.

Tate McRae will take the stage as musical guest for the second time. Her highly anticipated third album, "So Close To What," is set for release Feb. 21.

On March 8, Lady Gaga will do double duty for the second time, marking her second appearance as host and fifth appearance as musical guest. The Grammy and Academy Award winner's newest album, "MAYHEM," is due out March 7.

Mikey Madison will make her "Saturday Night Live" hosting debut on March 29. Madison won the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her work in "Anora," now playing in theaters and on demand.

Morgan Wallen will make his second appearance as musical guest. The 19-time Billboard Music Awards winner kicks off a tour this summer in support of his upcoming album, "I'm The Problem."

Jack Black will host "SNL" for the fourth time on April 5. Black stars in the upcoming film "A Minecraft Movie," in theaters April 4.

Elton John and Brandi Carlile will appear together as musical guest for the first time. Their collaborative studio album, "Who Believes In Angels?" including the Oscar-nominated song "Never Too Late," will be released April 4.

Jon Hamm will host "SNL" for the fourth time on April 12. Hamm executive produces and stars in the new series "Your Friends and Neighbors," premiering April 11 on AppleTV+.

Lizzo will take the stage as musical guest for the fourth time. The Emmy and four-time Grammy Award winner just debuted "Still Bad," the newest single from her highly anticipated next album, "Love in Real Life."

Quinta Brunson will host "Saturday Night Live" for the second time on May 3. The Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner is the star and creator of ABC's "Abbott Elementary."

Benson Boone will perform as musical guest for the first time. The Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum selling artist will release his next album "American Heart" on June 20.

Walton Goggins will host "SNL" for the first time on May 10. Goggins stars in the third season of "The White Lotus" and the final season of "The Righteous Gemstones," both streaming on Max.

Arcade Fire will take the stage as musical guest for the sixth time. The Grammy Award-winning band will release their new album, "Pink Elephant," on May 9.

Scarlett Johansson will host the May 17 season finale, returning to host "SNL" for the seventh time. The Oscar-nominated actress stars in the new Universal Pictures film "Jurassic World Rebirth," in theaters July 2.

Bad Bunny will make his third appearance as musical guest. The 3-time Grammy-winning artist's latest album, "DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS," spent three consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard 200 and has been #1 on the Top Latin Albums chart for 15 straight weeks.
