Episode 1
The show's unique 28 day £ for lb road test returns to discover which diet delivers the best value for money according to £'s spent for lbs lost. The diets being tested for 28 days this series are: Slimfast Vitality, Vegan Keto, the new Dukan Diet, WW (Weight Watchers), The Scandi Diet and celebrity diet plans from Chloe Madeley, Tom Kerridge and Lisa Riley. Which one will top the value for money leader board?

Episode 2
Lisa Riley's Honesty Diet is road-tested £ for lb by 44-year-old surgical matron Clare. Will this diet based on fresh food, no white carbs, alcohol or snacking make Clare's dream of the wearing the perfect wedding dress come true? And how will the diet stack up on our value for money leader board?

Episode 3
This week Chloe Madeley's "Fat Loss Blitz" is road-tested £ for LB by 36 year old Civil Servant Dev. Will this diet based on combining exercise 6 days a week with low carb, protein rich food help Dev shift the pounds and help him find love? And how will the diet stack up on our value for money leader board?
We also revisit Corinne, a £ for LB road test dieter from 2017 to see if she carried on her weight loss journey after trialling the Military diet. Has she carried on losing the weight or piled it back on?

Episode 4
WW, the newly branded Weightwatchers diet, is put to the pound for pound road test. On this plan, no food is off limits and is allocated points depending on the carbohydrate, protein and fat content. Dieters are then given a daily point limit depending on their weight. Will it work for 32-year-old IT Manager Jas? And how will the diet stack up on our value for money leader board?

Episode 5
This time, the Dukan Diet is road tested by 37-year-old radio presenter Matt. This diet plan is split into phases, designed to lose, stabilise and maintain weight-loss. Can 19-stone Matt cut the cake and his risk of developing diabetes, to become the healthy father he wants to be? And will this diet measure up pound for pound?

Episode 6
This week the Vegan Keto Diet is road tested by 30-year-old Holly from Kings Lynn. This diet plan combines two popular current diet plans. The Keto part is designed to put the body into ketosis where it burns fat for fuel. The Vegan element means eating only plant-based foods. Can 19-stone Holly put her years of yo-yo dieting behind her? And will this diet measure up lb for £?
Sian Williams continues on her quest to find healthier cheaper alternatives to the Nations' favourite treats. This time she joins dietician Linia Patel to find out if cereal bars really stack up as a breakfast alternative and whether the low sugar version stand up on calories and cost.
They also look at the truth behind diet fizzy drinks – can they be part of a weight loss routine or will they actually make us gain weight?
And Dr Ranj will be looking at slimming creams – can they offer a quick route to a better body? Two plucky road testers put a tummy fix cream and a skin tightening serum to the test.

Episode 7
This time the Scandi Diet is put through its paces by theatre director Jaydean. This Danish sensation combines four - literal - handfuls of food three times a day. One of protein, one of starch or fruit and two of veg. So no calorie counting of weighing food out at all. Can this mum of five kick her convenience food habit for good? And will this diet measure up pound for pound?

Episode 8
Care worker Deana road tests the reboot of the Slimfast diet. Can this restrictive diet cure her sweet tooth for good? We also catch up with Jax, who tested the Weightwatchers range in 2017 and lost an impressive 13 pounds. Two years on, has she continued her weight loss journey? Sian Williams joins dietician Linia Patel to find out whether crisps can ever be part of a diet, and Dr Ranj looks at DNA kits which claim to create personalised diet plans based on our genetic codes.
