Episode 1
Anna, an emotionally distant teacher, determinedly prepares for an opportunity abroad. However, an unexpected turn of events leads her to meet Grace, a young student suffering from abuse. As she grows closer to the young girl, Anna becomes torn between pursuing her dreams and saving Grace from her abusive parents.

Episode 2
Anna rescues Grace and accompanies her to Quezon, but they face numerous setbacks along the way. The news of Grace's disappearance reaches public affairs host Miranda Valdez, who then shows interest in the story to save her program. Meanwhile, Chito gets questioned by the authorities about the possible abuse of the missing child.

Episode 3
Anna and Grace find refuge in Lucia's abandoned orphanage. While Anna works to provide for their needs, her past catches up with her when Miranda, Detective Oscar and TV producer Julius investigate her invovement in the missing girl's case. As the pressure of investigation mounts and Lucia's vindictive son looms eviction, Anna faces a heart-wrenching decisionfor Grace.

Episode 4
Tension rises when the police locate Lucia's orphanage and Sarah catches sight of her daughter, Grace. Luckily, Grace manages to escape while Sarah is left bewildered by her action. Left with no other option, Anna takes Grace to Palawan and seeks help from her adoptive mother, Helena. However, family tensions rise, threatening to expose Anna's secret.

Episode 5
To protect Grace, Anna is forced to pretend that the former is her child and divert the police investigation away from her. However, Julius relentlessly asks questions who the child's father is, while Helena starts to doubt her supposed granddaughter's identity. Soon, a heated confrontation compels Anna to reveal her long-buried secrets.

Episode 6
After discovering that Anna is hiding Grace, Julius forces them to surrender. However, an accident strands them in a deserted house where Anna and Grace reveal to Julius the whole truth behind their actions. Tensions escalate at the Sarmientos' inn as Miranda, Oscar, Sarah, and Chito become more suspicious of Anna compelling her to choose between Grace and her family.

Episode 7
Helena urges Anna to return Grace to her mother, while Sarah's persistent harassment causes an accident at the Sarmiento's inn. Julius helps Anna and Grace hide, but Jessica soon finds their shelter and gets incriminating evidence against Anna. Meanwhile, a stolen bracelet leads Miranda to uncover a shocking truth about someone she has been searching for over the years.

Episode 8
After discovering Anna's past, an unjust manipulation of their interview compels Miranda to choose between helping Anna and protecting her career. A heated confrontation between Miranda and Helena causes past pains to resurface. Grace's and Anna's safety are put at risk when Princess makes a reckless decision and Julius' father discovers his involvement in the missing girl's case.
