The new school year kicks off, and Tenma Tsukamoto is thrilled to find out if she's in the same class as her crush, Oji Karasuma. Meanwhile, Kenji Harima—delinquent and secret romantic—hopes to be in Tenma's class too. A love triangle is already in motion... and the school year has just begun!

After roughing up some delinquents, Harima dashes to school just in time for a surprise English test. But when he notices Tenma forgot to write her name on her answer sheet, things get complicated fast. And that's just the beginning of this bizarre school day!

It's portrait day in art class! Tenma is paired with Karasuma and becomes flustered by his intense gaze. Struggling to focus, she receives cryptic advice: "Paint with your heart." Later, pajama party confessions stir up more romantic confusion.

It's school trip time! Tenma hopes to sit next to Karasuma on the bus, but Harima snags the seat first. A bathroom break mix-up causes Harima to board the wrong bus, leaving the coveted seat open again—but can Tenma seize the opportunity?

While staying with his cousin Genko, Harima is blackmailed into revealing his awkward past—including how he met Tenma and why he wears sunglasses. Little does he know, Tenma is sitting right behind him, hearing every word...

Tenma ends up locked in the gym's storage room and finds only one thing to eat: ultra-spicy curry bread! After surviving that ordeal, she finds herself facing a new one—alone time with Karasuma at the hospital?!

Hanai, smitten with Yakumo, volunteers his class to clean the school pool just to be near her. Chaos ensues as Tenma and the gang turn a simple cleaning session into an all-out aquatic battle.

Eri Sawachika, adored by the boys, receives another love confession. Inspired to cook nikujaga for someone special, she embarks on her first-ever grocery trip. But romance and cooking don't always mix…

Tenma is glowing after sharing rice balls with Karasuma. Meanwhile, Harima, in a creative funk, isolates himself to finish a manga submission. But his dreams of success may be thwarted—by editors and kappas alike.

After injuring her hand during aikido, Mikoto desperately needs divine intervention to pass a test. Her prayers might help... or maybe the animal-themed fortune-telling booth will? Anything's worth a try!

Tenma hits the pool with her friends and ends up drifting away—literally. As some shady guys make moves on the girls, Tenma floats over to the lazy river, where she bumps into the lonely but kind-hearted Nara Kentaro.

At the beach, Harima's lost his swim trunks and ends up stuck in the room—completely naked. Just when he thinks things can't get worse, Eri walks in! His vacation is going off the rails... fast.

Mikoto and Imadori are lost at sea and somehow make it to an inn. Meanwhile, Tenma mistakenly thinks Harima is in love with Mikoto and drags him outside to practice a love confession—with her as the stand-in target!

Tenma hosts a study session at her house, but when Mikoto and Akira are late, she and Eri begin without them. In an unexpected moment, Tenma tells Eri that Harima might have feelings for Mikoto. Still flustered from her beachside run-in with Harima, Eri can't hide her reaction...

Harima continues submitting his love-fueled manga to publishers, with himself and Tenma as the leads. On his way home, he spots Eri—and panics at the thought of her discovering his secret hobby. As Harima flees, he's intercepted by Mikoto, who invites him to a café. But when Eri walks in and sees them together... misunderstandings explode like fireworks.

The tea ceremony club's summer retreat takes the group deep into the mountains—and right behind them are Harima, Imadori, and Hanai. When Yakumo realizes Harima was the one who saved her cat, she joins him for firewood duty. But Tenma catches them alone and misreads the situation—again.

Yakumo and her friends are tasked with caring for a giraffe. Thinking he needs exercise, she takes him on a nighttime walk with Sarah. Touched by Yakumo's kindness, the giraffe suddenly recalls his long-lost master—and bolts into the night! Chaos—and a strange kind of party—ensues.

Ichijo is nervous—she's class monitor with Imadori today, and she hasn't forgotten their almost-date. Imadori, of course, has. Or has he? Trying to play it cool, he fumbles through the day... until he accidentally ends up on a real date with her!

Mr. Sasakura announces his first solo art exhibition. When the boys hear Ms. Itoko is posing as a nude model, excitement ripples through the class. But the shock intensifies when they learn Tenma and Yakumo will model too! As the day of the exhibit arrives, emotions run high and tempers flare.

While prepping for the school sports festival, Tenma and friends are making pom-poms after class. During the chaos, Eri accidentally cuts off Harima's beard while he's napping! The next day, she tries to apologize to a sulking Harima—who declares she's now his loyal lackey!

Heartbroken after overhearing Harima and Yakumo, Hanai retreats to the mountains for intense soul-searching. Upon returning, he meets Harry McKenzie—a flashy, bike-riding blonde—and ends up in an unexpected showdown. Just in time, Harima arrives for his meeting with Yakumo, and a three-way battle begins!

The sports festival kicks off with high-octane rivalry between Classes C and D. Harry and Togo steal the show during ball toss, Harima and Hanai sprint like maniacs in the three-legged race, and Ichijo and Lala go head-to-head in a tug-of-war that shakes the field!

With only the relays left, the festival reaches its climax. Eri, injured from protecting Harima's bald secret during the cavalry battle, bravely steps up as the fourth runner. As she takes the baton, she races against pain, pressure—and possibly her feelings.

Someone draws a heart with Harima and Eri's names on the classroom board. Enraged, Harima lashes out—but when Tenma casually says she supports his relationship with Eri, it hits him like a truck: she never liked him back.

Devastated, Harima believes his only option is to flee the country—on a fishing boat. But the boat's captain, a former manga artist, senses Harima's passion and turns the vessel around. With a pen carved from a tuna bone, he sends Harima back to chase his dreams once more.

Feelings left unspoken, hearts misunderstood. One fleeting season, one final chance to make it right. Words that reach, words that don't. Confessions, memories, moments that feel like forever. And yet—our story continues, into tomorrow.
