But the job is as steep as the cliff the cabin sits on. Scott tears off the lakeside half of the cottage and builds it back in style, with a little magic from Debra.

Breezy Beach House / Amanda and Emily
Sisters-in-law Amanda and Emily took a leap of faith and invested in a cottage together. But the place needs a ton of work, and they are in over their heads. Scott and Debra are up for the challenge. They bring their skills, and a few laughs, to transform this dark paneled property into a light, breezy beach house - keeping peace in the family, and on the lake.

Limitless Lakeside Retreat / Emma and Clayton
Emma and her husband Clayton want to future proof their family cottage against Emma's increasing physical challenges. Scott creates a fabulous lakeside rental with an accessible chef's kitchen, a universal bathroom, and converts an old garage into a spacious primary suite. With towering, vaulted ceilings, Scott shows how you can make your vacation property limitless for all guests.

Coastal Cabin / Kelly and Paul
Kelly must convince her husband Paul that purchasing an old dark cottage will help their retirement. Scott leans into the gorgeous teal lake this property sits on and gets to work with Deb transforming it into a beautiful coastal cabin. Soon Kelly and Paul will be seeing green not only on their property but in their pockets.

Bayside Bungalow / Melissa and Adam
Millennials Melissa and Adam bought a dated lakeside property with kitschy contents included. Scott looks past the kitsch and sees the future by renovating it with the latest home technology, including integrated security, magnetic tiles, and a cottage that listens to all your renters needs.

Sunset Grove / Natalie and Kevin
Natalie and Kevin are busy parents with full-time careers. So, when they're up at their cottage, the last thing they want to do is have to work on repairing it. Scott to the rescue. But he discovers some unexpected surprises within the cottage. Unifying all of its additions into one amazing design will allow Natalie and Kevin, and their renters, to kick back and enjoy the breathtaking sunsets at this property.

Family Lake House / Jeff, Steph and Katie
When siblings Steph, Jeff, and Katie unexpectedly inherit their family cottage, they are desperate to keep it, but can't rent it out in its current condition. Unfortunately, this family cottage has been mended with duct tape and bubble gum for far too long. Scott and Debra take on a full redesign while keeping in mind the family legacy of this property. The result is a fantastic vacation property that sleeps 12, perfect for creating future family memories.

Mid-Century Getaway / Andy and Jeff
Andy and Jeff sold their place in the city planning to retire to this happening town, but they will need to rent out this bungalow for a few years yet. Scott and Debra enter into the mid-century spirit of the place to create a cool vacation spot complete with top-of-the-line fixtures, paired with original elements, and a unique mid-century vibe.

Beachside Abode / Sarah and Rob
Sarah and Rob want to create the dream beach cottage out of this run-down property to take advantage of the newfound popularity of the area. But the cottage they purchased is a bit of a flop. When they find they have underestimated the work needed for the renovation it is Scott and his team to the rescue. This cottage will go from beach shack to beach palace with bright bold colours, and a few laughs along the way.

Paradise Point / Connie and Todd
Newly retired Connie and Todd love their cottage but realize it is a little unfinished to earn much on the vacation rental market. Scott and his team swoop in to remove, restore and renovate this little piece of paradise so that this property can earn them some serious rental income.

Organic Oasis / Mark and Michael
Mark and Michael's parents saw the potential in this massive bungalow for their retirement and tasked their sons to maintain it in the meantime. But the amount of work that needs to get done in order to make it marketable to renters is too much for Mark and Michael. Scott and Debra get to work and create a gorgeous open concept space with a new kitchen, spa-like bathrooms, a revived swimming pool, and a fabulous greenhouse at the center.

Inn on the Market / Kat and Kevin
Entrepreneurs Kat and Kevin bought a huge property with the dream of running a restaurant with a vacation property above. But with limited knowledge on the vacation market, they look to Scott for help. Scott and Debra turn some old storage and office space into a prime rentable spot, complete with an outdoor sauna and a top view of the lake.

Classy Country Cottage / Jaqueline and Susan
Once upon a time, Susan's happy place was her cottage. But over the years, she has become burdened by all the fixes this waterfront property needs.

Heritage Hideaway / Ashlynn and Ryan
Ryan, and his wife Ashlynn, inherited his grandmother's cottage, which has been in the family for a hundred years. But the history of this property is starting to show. There's no room for family events, let alone renters.

Each week the show invites two guests to cast a jaundiced eye over the week's news, resulting in a fast flow of anarchic, spontaneous and hugely entertaining wit and humour. Guests typically represent the world of politics, comedy, show-business and journalism, and are often themselves particularly newsworthy participants.
