Season 1
A story about a woman who was born and raised in a family of alcoholics escaping from her drunkenness.
Han Geum Joo is a mechanic who becomes a public servant at a large company because she loves cars. She was called a "woman who drinks better than men," but when she is given another title of "alcoholic," Geum Joo decides to challenge herself by "abstaining from drinking." Seo Ui Joon is a doctor who was on a roll as a specialist at a prestigious university hospital in Seoul but ended up moving down to the rural village of Bocheon Health Center. He believes that alcohol is not a cure but an anesthetic and can ruin your life, and he will likely get involved with Geum Joo, who has been given the title of "alcoholic".

An Unwelcome Reunion
Geum-ju calls off her wedding. Geum-ju's mother, Gwang-ok is upset because of Geum-ju. Pushed by her mother's pressure, Geum-ju heads to Bocheon. The whole village is abuzz with the news of Geum-ju's broken engagement. In Bocheon, Geum-ju runs into someone she'd rather not see.

Quit Drinking, Geum Ju
The entire town is thrown into panic by Geum-ju's sudden disappearance. Gwang-ok warns people that anyone who sells alcohol to her family will no longer be able to do business with her. With alcohol banned, her family members start going crazy. Meanwhile, Geum-ju pays dearly for hurting Ui-jun, the precious doctor of the town.

There's a Reason I'm Drunk
Ui-jun suggests that Geum-ju take an alcohol dependence test. Seon-wook teaches taekwondo to Hyun-joo so she can relieve her stress. Geum-ju, Hyun-joo, and Jung-soo's secret drinking does not escape Gwang-ok's notice, and they are forced to go to the Sobriety Camp held at a temple.

Blackout
Geum-ju, Hyun-joo, and Jung-soo fail to quit drinking. Ui-jun lectures at the county office about alcoholism, and Geum-ju, Hyun-joo, and Jung-soo are forced to attend the lecture by Gwang-ok. Time passes, and the day of the wedding Geum-ju once called off finally arrives.

The Reason I Cut You Off
A medical checkup reveals how much damage alcohol has done to their bodies, so Geum-ju, Hyun-joo, and Jung-soo decide to stop drinking right away. Ui-jun promises to grant Geum-ju's wishes if she manages to stay off alcohol for a week. But soon, a challenge emerges that puts Geum-ju's strong determination to the test.

Withdrawal Symptoms
Geum-ju loses sleep at night after Ui-jun confesses his old feelings to her. Seon-wook admits to Hyun-joo that he tried to bury his feelings, but he can't anymore. Geum-ju, Hyun-joo, and Jung-soo undergo withdrawal symptoms. Meanwhile, Gwang-ok says she's going to Seoul to take some time for herself, leaving her family surprised.

First Kiss
It's only now that Geum-ju's family comes to understand the true reason behind her broken engagement, and the truth leaves them filled with regret. With the townspeople, her family, and friends on her side, Geum-ju feels stronger than ever. Meanwhile, Geum-ju goes back to her job at the company.

Alcohol-Free Romance
Geum-ju and Ui-jun enjoy some sweet, quiet moments together, but their secret doesn't stay hidden for long. Someone in the village spots them. Hyun-joo finds herself torn over Seon-wook's unexpected proposal: just three dates, no strings attached. Meanwhile, Seon-hwa is still barking up the wrong tree, convinced Seon-wook has feelings for Geum-ju.

Please Take Care of Mom
Geum-ju and Ui-jun end up going on a date at Daecheon Beach. There, they unexpectedly run into Hyeon-ju and Seon-wook, and the four of them end up spending a joyful time together. Hyun-joo and Seon-wook try to keep their romantic relationship a secret, but can they really keep it hidden? Meanwhile, Geum-ju gets promoted at work, and both Gwang-ok and Jung-soo are thrilled to hear the news. However, Gwang-ok starts complaining of fatigue and dizziness...

Birthday, Happy End
After relentless effort and exercise, Geum-ju is finally able to donate her liver to her mother, Gwang-ok, but Gwang-ok strongly opposes the idea. To celebrate Ui-jun's birthday, Ui-jun and Geum-ju go on a trip and spend a wonderful, happy time together. However, Ui-jun suddenly leaves in a hurry, leaving only a note behind, and Geum-ju begins to worry. Meanwhile, Sun-hwa suggests to Hyun-joo that she go on a blind date with a divorced man, and Seon-wook finds out about this.

Untold Truth
To celebrate Gwang Ok's discharge from the hospital, the villagers gather at her home, but the absence of Gi Beom's mom raises eyebrows. Meanwhile, Seon Uk discovers that Seon Hwa know about his relationship with Hyeon Ju all along, a revelation that leaves him reeling. Elsewhere, Ui Jun digs deeper into the true identities of Nurse Oh and Nurse Baek, only to find himself plunged into greater confusion. Also, he inches closer to uncovering the whereabouts of his father.

Cheering on Love
Ui Jun is overwhelmed and unsure how to feel when a mother who he's never had in his life suddenly appears. Seon Uk suddenly disappears, leaving behind only a note saying he's going to Seoul to clear his head. Seon Hwa is left heartbroken and anxious. Meanwhile, despite ongoing efforts, the police have yet to locate Ui Jun's father.
