Secret Story is a French reality show hosted by Benjamin Castaldi (season 1 to 8) and Christophe Beaugrand (season 9). It has been broadcast on the channel TF1 since 23 June 2007. A house of secrets full of surprises, inhabited by about twenty candidates and a careful observer without face: "La Voix", virtual inhabitant of the house that communicates the tests of the game to the candidates. Each candidate has a secret that he must seek to preserve throughout the game. Each week, several candidates are nominated by the other inhabitants and the viewers are invited to vote to save their favorite candidate. On the weekend, the candidate with the fewest votes is eliminated. The winner of Secret Story, designated by the public during the grand finale, will win the prize pool of the winner of 100 000 euros.
