While visiting his dad, Jake finds a seal pelt in a cave hidden among the jagged rocks of Pariwhero. Later, Jake and his dad notice a strange woman playfully wandering the streets.

It Wasn't A Dream
Jake decides to follow the strange redhead who has been haunting his dreams. His quest takes him along the rocky coast and into the hills.

Its Power Is Strong
Jake learns the truth about Cara's selkie nature and resolves to return the skin to the cave. But will he be able to resist the skin's enchantment to set Cara free?

Where's Ted?
Ted is gravely ill and missing. Jake and Jessie will need to muster up all their smarts to find him. Cara makes a desperate play to get her skin back.

Do The Right Thing
Jake tries to get his dad alone so he can tell him about selkies, Cara, and the skin. Jake is later forced to steal the skin back from a group of bullies.

Open Your Mind A Little
Jake takes an injured Jessie back to Ted's shack. Ted reveals his own selkie story and warns that Robert's love for Cara can only end in a similar tragedy.

People We Care About
Robert has hidden the skin and is basking in Cara's affections. Jake and his friends devise a plan to shake him from the grip of the enchantment.

The Only Way This Can End
Cara's wild animal instincts have taken over, and she tears the house apart. Jake makes a perilous sea journey to recover the sealskin from its hiding place and return it to the cave.
