They also learn that some ancient graffiti could reveal how the legend of Arthur began.

Old Sarum
In episode two, we visit Old Sarum in Wiltshire, formerly one of the most important cities in Britain. It is the site where Saxon kings produced their money, William the Conqueror flaunted his victory over King Harold and the Domesday Book was created.

Stonehenge
In episode three, we explore the mysteries of Stonehenge, the most famous prehistoric monument in Britain and an icon across the world.

Maiden Castle
In episode four, we explore the mysteries of Maiden Castle, a giant fort carved out of a Dorset hill during the iron age, over 2000 years ago.

Sutton Hoo
In episode five, we explore Sutton Hoo, the burial ground of several powerful Ango-Saxon kings of East Anglia.
The quiet unassuming field in Suffolk is on headland overlooking the River Deben in East Anglia and it is the home of a spectacular royal cemetery, the significance of which remained undiscovered for over 1300 years.

Antonine Wall
For the final episode in the series, we explore the relatively unknown yet monumental Antonine Wall in Scotland.
