In this opening episode, Alexis is joined by Essex takeaway lovers Rob and Della. They join in taste tests and DIY cooking experiments to help him demonstrate the tricks and hints he learns on his travels. His first mission is to get inside the world of fried chicken.

Burgers and Pizza
Alexis Conran continues his quest to uncover the secrets of the nation's favourite takeaway treats and turns his attention towards a fast-food favourite - burgers. He also gets his hands on an unconventional takeaway pizza recipe and takes a peek behind the scenes at a well-known high street Burrito chain. Alexis will be joined by takeaway loving twosome Ryan and Emma, a young couple who order out several times a week and joke about naming their first born after their favourite pizza.

Fish and Chips, Chinese and Doughnuts
Alexis Conran takes a behind-the-scenes look at the production of Chinese food, fish and chips, and doughnuts. He begins with a visit to an award-winning London chip shop that secures the best fish for its fryer by running its own fishmonger. Alexis also visits one of the few British-based factories that make traditional-style Chinese rice noodles.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is an American comedy series about four friends in their late 20s with clear sociopathic tendencies who run an unsuccessful Irish bar, "Paddy's Pub," in South Philadelphia. The series deals with a variety of controversial topics, including abortion, gun control, physical disabilities, racism, sexism, religion, the Israeli/Palestinian situation, terrorism, transsexuality, slavery, incest, sexual harassment in education, the homeless, statutory rape, drug addiction, pedophilia, child abuse, mental illness, gay rights and dumpster babies.
