Segunda muerte - Season 1

In an abandoned cabin in the most remote part of the Pas Valley, Sandra, a young auxiliary of the Civil Guard, finds the body of an elderly woman who recently died. This is Juliana Cobián, a woman who had already been buried seven years ago. Questions immediately arise and two UCO agents arrive to investigate the strange case, while Sandra deals with her personal situation.

Sandra seeks answers by approaching Claudia Cobo, but her relationship with her has unexpected consequences. The investigation turns Juliana Cobián's case into a kidnapping case, and the discovery of her daughter Soledad in her coffin, into homicide. Tello makes his own inquiries about her, spurred by Marina's need to get the UCO agents away from her.

Sandra tries to rebuild her relationship with Castro, but the UCO pressures her to put Castro in favor of the investigation. While their relationship falters, they go to the depths of the valley for a few days to visit Castro's parents, some Pasiego shepherds who disown their son.

Castro and Sandra receive help from Tello after what happened in the valley. The facts fall like a huge weight on Sandra and put the investigation in check. The pressures and an unexpected appearance torment Sandra.

Castro's decision surprises Tello, who begins to look at his grandson's father with different eyes. Sandra feels duty-bound to help him and she draws on the skills she has long wanted to bury to find answers.

Sandra's deductions to pinpoint the culprit come as a bitter victory when Tello disappears after suffering a bout of dementia. In a race against time, Sandra does everything possible to find her father before it is too late.
