Episodes

Petersham
The 100th Episode gives back to the Salvos! The team renovate a spacious four-bedroom heritage federation home that's been in the Salvos family almost 100 years, before it goes to auction to raise funds for their homeless services.

Miami, Qld
Amanda and Matt are gym junkies who own and run a gym called Bangin' Bodz. The pair started work on their three bedroom reno project but with time and money stretched, they had to move into the garage as they were drowning in mess. They have been trying to sell for the past two years with no success. Can Andrew train Shaynna and Charlie transform this work-in-progress to a little piece of paradise?

Bass, Vic
John and Mary are selling a four bedroom farm house on 47 hectare dairy farm just over an hour from Melbourne and 15 minutes from San Remo and Phillip Island. With the dairy industry being rocked by price slashing, it means dairy farms aren't high on the most wanted list – presenting the family and now the team with a huge challenge

Fulham, SA
Paul and Josie are a young couple selling their first home so they can expand along with their growing family. They're asking $575,000 for their three-bedroom home on a 576-square-metre corner block in Fulham West, Adelaide. It's not in bad shape but has an unrenovated bathroom and kitchen and no second bathroom. They've had the place listed on two separate occasions, the first time they used a best offer approach, then a price range, then a flat price and had three offers the highest was $560,000 but at that time they wanted $600,000. They subsequently went to auction but even with five registered bidders, there were no bites. Can the team help them achieve their dream of selling in order to find their new family home?

Ravenshoe, QLD
Dina is selling a four-bedroom castle located on a hectare of land in the Atherton Tablelands, two hours southwest of Cairns. It's been on the market two years with the price now lowered to $500,000. Charlie and Shaynna have great plans to modernise and lighten the place without losing its essential castle-ness, but even once it's looking its shiny best, it's still a tough market. Castle lovers aren't exactly thick on the ground. But Dina has bought elsewhere and is desperate to sell.

Mt Macedon, VIC
Shaun and Cate are a modern-day Brady Bunch with six kids between them. They've been together 12 months after meeting online. They currently live near each other in Kew but are keen to sell Shaun's original family house at Mt Macedon and move in together. The house has been on the market almost a year with no offers. Shaun has a very amicable relationship with his ex-wife, Christine, and he and Cate even cohabited with her at the Mt Macedon house when they first got together. It's a solid tinker brick house on a beautiful three-acre block, but it's dark and dated inside. If the team can help lighten and modernise the house, then everyone will accept a realistic price and move on.

Wangi Wangi, NSW
Terri and Paul are selling a main house and guest house on a large waterfront block on Lake Macquarie, north of Sydney. They're asking $1.2 million, but have been four years on the market with three agents, so something isn't working. It's very dated and multi-coloured and in need of a face lift to meet the market. The couple need to move on as they're keen to go caravanning while Terri still can (he has early-onset dementia).

New Norfolk, Tas
Former infantryman Ben bought this modest weatherboard in New Norfolk, northwest of Hobart, in 2008, confident it was an idyllic place to raise his family but when his wife Claire's father died suddenly in 2010, they decided to move back to the mainland closer to family and quickly bought in Victoria. They put New Norfolk on the market where it's remained on/off for five years, bringing in a modest rent. With four children, Ben is struggling with the two mortgages and works most weekends, missing out on the kids' sports etc. With a new agent on the case, it's time to upgrade New Norfolk and offload it once and for all.

Cobbitty, NSW
Maree is a mother of three grown boys who lost her husband 14 years ago, just before buying her house on half an acre at Cobbitty, an outer western Sydney suburb. It's a character-filled old weatherboard which needs a lot of work to make it market ready. Everyone wants to see it looking new and fabulous, so the SHA team are going to come in very handy, especially as Maree has already bought elsewhere and is now desperate to sell.

Oxenford, QLD
Stevie Adams is a real estate agent and still can't work out why her three-bedroom town house isn't selling. It's at Oxenford near the Gold Coast theme parks, a place where homes usually sell within 30 days, but the unit she shares with boyfriend Wayne has been on the market six months without a nibble. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact she's been there seven years and hasn't done a thing by way of repairs and enhancements.

Hindmarsh Island, Sa
Steven and Theresa own a dated six-bedroom home which has been on the market for three years with three agents. They've lowered the price from $680,000 to $570,000 and can't really go lower. The market is flooded with more contemporary homes, meaning their house isn't currently very appealing to buyers.

Casula, NSW
This is an incredibly dated 1970s four-bed home on an elevated block with a steep driveway. This lovely family with two kids are preparing to downsize, but they seem slightly clueless as to why their house won't sell, and it's scaring off the buyers. It's been on the market for 14 months with a hopeless agent that they have replaced. They'll need to lower their expectations as they're currently asking well over the suburb average, even before the team renovates.

Middle Ridge, QLD
Amanda, Paul and David are siblings who sadly lost their doctor parents in the MH17 plane crash over Ukraine in July 2014. They are selling their five-bedroom family home on a bushy 12 acres near Toowoomba. A touching story as the family is well-loved and respected in the area. Also, they're prepared to donate some of the profits to Medicines Sans Frontiers.
