Shababnikim - Season 1

Gedalia moves into Room 17 and takes a trip around Jerusalem with the others in search of an espresso capsule. After getting into trouble during a football game at Sacher Park, he decides to remain in that room. The yeshiva's board decides to appoint a new head of yeshiva.

Shpitzer, the new head of yeshiva, decides to block the yeshiva's cellular reception. Shira asks Avinoam to help her with her studies. Meir goes out on a date with a highly regarded girl he was set up with. He fires his matchmaker and tries to get accepted by Shlomi Zacks, elite matchmaker.

Rabbi Shpitzer continues to bully the yeshiva students but they do not give up easily, Rabbi Bloch confronts Rabbi Spitzer. Avinoam grows closer to Shira And now stands at a crossroads. Dov brings Gedalia along to a meeting with his sister Devorah.

On their way on a trip up north, Gedalia reveals what happened to the article he wrote. Dov gets in trouble in a minefield And now waiting for the help of the army and when they arrive, an ideology begins to float. Together, the four Shababniks face an unexpected adventure.

Rabbi Bloch hosts a donor couple at the yeshiva that is important to the future of the yeshiva, the four Shababniks accompany the donor couple on their tour at the yeshiva and show them sides they weren't aware of. Rabbi Bloch gives Meir some bad news .

Meir is kicked out of the yeshiva and now needs to face his father. the war between the four guys and Rabbi Bloch gains momentum, Avinoam leads a general war at the yeshiva and now all the students are entering into struggle and internal politics.

The four Shababniks host Devorah, Shira, and Ruth for Sabbath dinner, Meir is angry at Dov for not understanding why he is interrupting him in courting Ruth. and now each of them is facing conflict. What is allowed and what is forbidden and what goes beyond the bounds of good taste.

Avinoam, Dov, and Gedalia go out to Tel Aviv, where they meet actor Yehuda Levi who wants to get to know them better. But the city is not doing any good for Gedalia and is bringing it to an edge. Meanwhile, Meir's doing everything to meet Ruth.

When the four Shababniks discover that the new view from their room is an immodest billboard, Gedalia and Meir ask Rabbi Hajbi for advice on what action to take. Meanwhile, Avinoam is invited by Shira to an exhibit at Bezalel art academy in Jerusalem.

Three detectives show up at the yeshiva to investigate the burning of the billboard. Meir, Gedalia, Avinoam, and Dov are at the center of the investigation, which destabilizes their relationship. If that's not enough now the yeshiva students doubt the four guys.

At the yeshiva, preparations are underway to watch the Maccabi Tel Aviv basketball game, while Rabbi Bloch fumes about this as he wants them to attend his father's memorial service instead of the game. Gedalia makes a decision about Devorah.

The yeshiva students are furious at Rabbi Shpitzer and demand that he return Rabbi Bloch to the yeshiva immediately. Rabbi Shpitzer wants to go to a Kabbalist mediator with the four Shababniks. Gedalia realizes he has significant feelings for Devorah.
