Sharktopus is a 2010 Syfy original movie that is part of a trilogy. It is considered one of the best of Syfy's low-budget original horror television films. It was followed in 2014 by Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda which is the sequel to the 2010 SyFy original monster film Sharktopus and has premiered on August 2, 2014. Sharktopus vs. Whalewolf is a television movie that premiered on July 19, 2015 on Syfy. It is the third installment in the "Sharktopus" franchise, after Sharktopus and Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda.
