Makina is an undead teen mercenary trained to hunt down corpses that won't stay buried. Her first mission is to take down a sicko with a thing for biting young girls.

Murder victims lead Makina to a mysterious clinic and an aging doctor. During her investigation, she crosses paths with Ouri as he seeks the truth about a cursed infant.

When a pop starlet refuses to let her career be derailed by death, Makina is sent in to make sure the superstar Shikabane has recorded her last gold record.

A sinister monk's deranged plan spells trouble for Makina, and a school-girl crush takes a dangerous twist when the new girl invites Ouri on a late night joy ride.

Ouri's moonlight drive with the class cutie gets a little crowded when Makina decided to tag along, but once he sees what's lurking in the darkness, he might be glad she did.

Makina is left shorthanded while Keisei, her contracted monk, recovers from serious injuries. In the meantime, Ouri takes it upon himself to investigate a familiar Shikabane.

When Ouri falls for a girl that's absolutely perfect except for her lack of a pulse, he soon finds himself in the middle of brutal, undead catfight.

A morbid girl follows Ouri to learn more about Makina, but Makina's more interested in Ouri's strange past. Only one thing's for sure: everyone's either obsessed with death - or actually dead.

Makina endures haunting dreams of her last human moments only to have her flashback turn foreboding. Meanwhile, Keisei tries to prevent Ouri from getting too close to the dark world of death.

The deadly emergence of the Seven Stars offers Makina a chance at revenge, but when Ouri is targeted by the gang of rouge shikabane, innocent blood will be shed!
