Alex and Steph head to Caerphilly to meet the Ingram family. HGV driver Liam and IT engineer Emma are proud parents to a 10-year-old and two sets of twins. Emma's mum Katrina also lives with the family but even with her help, jumping from one child to five in less than two years has had a massive impact on Liam and Emma's finances. To shock the family into making some big changes, Steph and Alex build a surprise pop-up-shop in the Ingram's house with some of their biggest spends, but how will they react when they know the cost of their big brand spending? To get their spending down, the family's budget-blowing belongings are banned and replaced with alternatives disguised in plain packaging so the Ingram's have no idea what's been swapped and what hasn't. But will the family like Alex and Steph's changes?

Sales manager Tom and sales executive Jen have recently reduced their working hours to spend more time with their children Scarlett, eight, and Charlie, three. They know they can't afford to keep up their expensive shopping sprees but are struggling to break their bad habits. Can Alex and Steph shock them into changing their ways and get them to reign in their spending?

Alex and Steph are in Hampshire with a family desperate to get on top of their spending. Georgette and Tommy got married seven years ago, bringing together their two families. Two years ago they upsized to a property in need of renovation, but in order to get the work finished they had to put everything on the credit card. Since then they have continued spending, so to try to get back in the black Tommy had to give up his dream job as a police officer and go back to his better-paid job in logistics. Can Alex and Steph help them reign in their spending so that they can get their finances back on track? To get Tommy and Georgette to confront the true scale of their spending habits, Alex and Steph sneak into their house to take a closer look and set up a pop-up shop of their biggest spends.
