A Flower on Boot Hill
On his way to Toscato to investigate a bank robbery, Slade is jumped by two convicts who knock him unconscious, strip him of his gun, clothes and horse, and leave him in the road, in "Flower on Boot Hill." Slade meets Kate Shelby who has returned to Boot Hil, she suspects her brother-in-law, Doctor Brighton, has something to do with her sister's demise. Slade investigates and finds Brighton is allied with the convicts.
