Significant Other - Season 1

Season 1
He left a twenty year marriage and two children. Alone in his new apartment, he decides to commit suicide. Swallowing a cabinet full of medicine, he waits to die. He is quickly disrupted by a stubborn, persistent ringing at the door. His neighbor is in the midst of a heart attack and asks him to wait with her until the ambulance arrives. The paramedics end up having to evacuate them both. From this ill-fated encounter, these two lonely people who have lost all faith in love, discover that even when life seems to have passed them by, there are still surprises to be had.

Episode 1
She is anxious, he is depressed and both have lost all faith in love, but they discover even when it seems like the world is turning its back on you, life is full of surprises.

Episode 2
If you can't die, you have to go back to a normal life. The doctor offers a solution for the heart and loneliness, but when two people feel lonely together it doesn't always help.

Episode 3
An awkward situation between the two opens up an opportunity for a new adventure, which becomes awkward and unpleasant from moment to moment.

Episode 4
A gray and not so successful date between the two, ends in an intense event that gives a new proportion to life.

Episode 5
The ex who appears in the middle of the funeral, stirs up old feelings, and a visit to the house with the aim of trying to return to the family, causes a greater distance.

Episode 6
Another day in the lives of the two leads to openness, and a surprise visit causes impulsive actions with painful consequences.

Episode 7
Surprising news throws everyone off balance, and the difficulty in making fateful decisions raises the need for consultation with voices from the past.

Episode 8
The two try a slightly different date. They enter into a nocturnal experience in the suburbs that is not suitable for everyone and discover that every evening, pleasant or not, the main thing is to end with a delicious pancake.

Episode 9
Everyone has their own mid-life crisis. She discovers new possibilities for cultivating self-love, and he reluctantly learns what true motherly love is.

Episode 10
An unexpected date raises new questions: does she want other significant others in her life, and is she even significant in his life?

Episode 11
The peace of being together goes out of balance as you start trying to define everything. "Just" is not a rude word, as long as it is not used in definitions of the heart.

Episode 12
In the season finale, neighbors, pop music and flowing alcohol sweep the two into a colorful millennial evening. There they discover that in order to survive the reality of time, you have to take care of each other.
