Silent Honor - Season 1

Season 1
In 1949, Taiwan was shrouded in the shadow of the White Terror. The Kuomintang, unwilling to accept defeat, sought to prevent the new China from achieving national reunification. In this critical moment, underground intelligence officer Wu Shi, deputy chief of staff of the KMT Ministry of National Defense, disregarded his personal safety and resolutely committed himself to liberating all of China. As the highest-ranking Red spy in history, he was honored with the code name "Agent No. 1."\NWithin just a few months, Wu Shi worked seamlessly with courier Zhu Feng and transmitted numerous top-secret military intelligence regarding Kinmen, the Zhoushan Archipelago, Taiwan, and other areas, making outstanding contributions to the cause of national reunification. However, fate took a turn. Due to the schemes of Gu Zhengwen, head of the KMT Secret Service, the secretary of the Taiwan Work Committee defected to the enemy. Wu Shi urgently arranged for Zhu Feng to evacuate Taiwan, but they ultimately could not escape the enemy's grasp. Zhu Feng attempted to trade her life for Wu Shi's safety, but her efforts failed.\NIn the spring of 1950, Wu Shi was convicted as a KMT spy. Despite enduring extreme torture and losing sight in one eye, he did not reveal a single word. His loyalty and courage even earned the respect of his enemies. In the end, Wu Shi, along with Zhu Feng, Chen Baocang, and Nie Xi, heroically sacrificed their lives, leaving their unwavering spirit forever in Taiwan.
