Single dads Mike and Jake invite women they've only met online to move in with them and their respective children. Sparks fiy immediately for Mike and Valene while Jake and Ami suffer through an awkward first encounter.

When a sitter falls through Mike brings Mikey on his first date with Valene. Jake and Ami struggle to connect causing Jake to do something drastic. And single-dad Jason invites Sarah to live with him and his 2 daughters.

JJake stays out all night, and an irate Ami wonders if he's coming back; Denise shares a secret with John; Kallie learns how many kids Paul has; Mike and Valene's plans for Mikey's birthday party hit a snag.

Tensions increase as Valene meets Mikey's mother at the birthday party. Kallie thinks about backing out of her trip to meet Paul and his children.

Jake & Ami share a romantic evening. Denise babysits rambunctious Elijah. Kallie confronts Paul over whether he's brought her to Mississippi for the right reasons. Valene grows frustrated when it becomes clear she's not the top priority in Mike's life.

Mike & Valene go from hot to ice cold. John & Denise share an intimate moment. Jason's daughter Sidney doesn't want a replacement Mom. Things heat up for Paul & Kallie when they talk about sex. Jake confesses his true feelings for Ami... to his sister.
