Der renommierte Architekt Thomas Lissmann wird in seinem Büro erschlagen aufgefunden. Schon bald verfolgt die SOKO zwei Spuren. Obwohl Lissmanns Partner Robert Mayer es mit allen Mitteln zu verheimlichen sucht, hatte er mit dem Toten erhebliche Differenzen wegen einer Ausschreibung für das neue Museum in Bad Cannstatt. Andererseits scheint Lissmann eine Affäre mit der 16-jährigen Praktikantin Paula Schmidt gehabt und sie anschließend rüde vor die Tür gesetzt zu haben. Hat der Streit zwischen Mayer und Lissmann zum tödlichen Ende geführt? Oder hat sich Paula für die Zurückweisung gerächt? Oder haben sich Paulas Eltern wegen der vermeintlichen Verführung ihrer minderjährigen Tochter zu dieser Gewalttat hinreißen lassen? Kommissar Jo Stoll hat den Büroboten im Architekturbüro auf dem Kieker, denn Leonardo Neubert scheint etwas zu verschweigen. Wurde er von seinem Chef Mayer gekauft, um die Tat zu verschweigen? Der Fall bekommt eine überraschende Wendung, als sich herausstellt, dass Lissmann Paulas leiblicher Vater war. (Text: ZDF)
