From Mighty Mint, Duplass Brothers Productions, and executive producers Bridget Everett, Hannah Bos and Paul Thureen, the series follows Sam (Everett), a true Kansan on the surface, but, beneath it all, struggling to fit the hometown mold. Grappling with loss and acceptance, singing is Sam's saving grace and leads her on a journey to discover herself and a community of outsiders who don't fit in but don't give up, showing that finding your people, and finding your voice, is possible. Anywhere. Somewhere. In season three, we see growth against all odds.

As Joel and Brad take a giant step forward in their relationship and move in together, Sam considers adopting a roommate of her own. Meanwhile, after finalizing her divorce, Tricia puts herself out there on the dating scene.

Dinky Dinkies
Overwhelmed by the amount of change happening in the lives of her loved ones, Sam is hit especially hard by a friend's brutally honest comment. Later, Sam helps Brad with a special task ahead of his and Joel's housewarming.

Porch Lyfe
As Tricia makes inroads with a very important country club member, Sam finally agrees to go to the doctor for the first time in years. Meanwhile, Joel and Brad attempt to make space for each other's individual needs – together.

What if it spreads?
An unexpected issue arises on Sam and Tricia's trip to Kansas City for a trade show. Meanwhile, Joel reluctantly attends Brad's bible book club and runs into a complicated figure from his past.

Num Nums
With Shannon at Rick's, Tricia joins Sam and her friends for Thanksgiving. As her chosen family celebrates firsts and moments of growth, details about Brad's past are revealed, and Sam gains a better appreciation of the depths of true love.

As Much as I Like Not Feeling
Joel's emotional center is rocked after an unfortunate fender bender. Meanwhile, Sam's date with Iceland brings some of her deepest insecurities to the surface, and Tricia perfects her pitch for Mitch.

Agg
Joel returns to church after recognizing a fundamental hole in his life. Sam and Tricia reach a surprising understanding on Holly's birthday, and later, Sam takes a chance with Iceland.

Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch
There are some places on earth where the land just seems different, and Blind Frog Ranch in eastern Utah is one of those places. Locals say the land is cursed. But Duane isn't concerned with the lore. After discovering a system of seven underground caves that run through his property, he is singularly focused on finding what's hidden in them - no matter what the cost.
