Sommerdahl - Season 3

A man in a wetsuit is found dead by the harbor apartment complex, having been pushed off the building. Dan and Flemming learn of a conflict between the victim and one of the other residents, but it's hard to find solid evidence. Privately, Dan is trying to pull himself together after his mother's death, but what he doesn't know is that his best friend and his ex-wife have started a relationship.

Secrets abound, not making it any easier for Dan and Flemming to get to the bottom of the murder case. The family of the deceased must face the fact that he too had his secrets, which are proving to have severe consequences for their safety. Dan and Flemming must piece together all the clues before it's too late.

A real-estate developer is found dead in a boat at sea the day after his long-awaited marina project was finally greenlit by the city council. Is there a connection between the two events? Dan and Flemming piece together the deceased's final hours, and they are quite surprised when they discover a prominent person was involved.

Important evidence is at risk of being lost. Will Dan, Flemming, and the rest of the Helsingør Police team solve the mystery before all evidence is gone for good?

Dan replaces Flemming with his new son-in-law, Benjamin. Right away the young cop gets an opportunity to prove his worth: a nun has been murdered at the nearby abbey. When Dan and Benjamin locate the nun's sister, she condemns the deceased's choice to live her life in a monastery.

The memorial ceremony for fallen soldiers takes up more and more police time after a group of protesters announce that they plan on disrupting the event. Meanwhile, a growing number of connections between the soldiers and the monastery begin to surface. Benjamin does his best to fill Flemming's shoes, but the responsibility may be too big in the end.

Widow Nancy Brinck is found dead behind the wheel of her car, an open cage in the back indicating that her beloved prize dog worth thousands has gone missing. Since Flemming has not yet been transferred to a different station, that means he and Dan have one last case to solve together as a team. A code lock found at the site is the detectives' first clue.

Dan Sommerdahl wakes up in a hospital bed, but new evidence prompts him to discharge himself early. He cannot miss his chance to catch the killer. To the great surprise of Dan and Flemming, Snowball the dog turns up in a shed near the fishmonger's. Laura and Benjamin have a big decision to make, while a farewell to Flemming awaits.
