The story follows experienced detective captain Su Lingyu and audio-visual department head Jiang Cheng, who team up to solve a series of complex cases and grow together through the process. The investigation begins when a brutally tortured male body is found at a steel factory — the only clue being a mysterious recording seemingly staged by the victim himself. As Su Lingyu and Jiang Cheng pursue the truth, the investigation exposes a vast criminal network and an unexpected mastermind behind it all.
