Season 2
Building on the success of series one and two, the programmes highlight the unique multi-agency collaboration of rescue efforts – bringing together over 17 different emergency and volunteer rescue teams working side by side in one of the UK's most challenging yet beautiful locations.
This year, the series welcomes new contributors including Llanberis Mountain Rescue, Britain's busiest mountain rescue team, and Cave Rescue, who face some of the most dangerous and logistically complex situations imaginable.

An 80-year-old is stuck on Yr Wyddfa. The police helicopter looks for a tourist lost in the dark. And the coastguard races to save a local before the tide sweeps her away.

Out of Reach

On the Edge

Emergency teams race to a gas explosion at a busy marina; an injured biker is stuck in a remote spot; and teams pull together to rescue a lost father and son.

A 15-year-old mountain biker has serious injuries after a downhill crash; a climber is frozen with fear on Eryri's most dangerous ridge; and two French visitors come unstuck.

It Takes a Team
An injured climber is hanging by ropes after a 20m fall; mountain rescue solve the sad mystery of a missing man; coastguards are called to a dog walker with a dislocated ankle.

Specialist Skills
A race to rescue eight-year-old twins, parents and grandparents lost in a storm; a sheepdog is stuck on a quarry ledge; and an RAF team help rescue multiple casualties stuck in the snow.

A young couple looking for a hidden hotspot are stranded in the dark; mountain rescue go old-school to find an injured walker; an American visitor bites off more than he can chew.

21st Century Rescues
A woman has multiple injuries after falling 20 feet on Wales's highest peak; a child goes missing on a busy beach; and a small team stretcher an injured man over a fast-flowing river.

A paraglider with vertigo is stuck in the snow on Crib Goch; emergency teams rush to rescue a dog walker caught by flooding; and a cry for help that could be a person, or a goat.

Difficult Decisions
A simple slip on a rocky beach turns into a race against the tide; a birthday outing in the mountains takes an unexpected turn; and things get complicated in a father and son rescue.
