However, Seiroku, who went off to war with the catalog, is killed in action, and the catalog goes missing.
Time passes, and a shocking encounter with Inako Momokawa, the daughter of a sake brewer, sets Kihachi's stagnant life in motion again. Meanwhile, Yosuke Mitsuzoe, the heir to a steam-powered conglomerate who is also searching for the catalog, pressures Inako into a political marriage in exchange for a loan to the Momokawa family. Kihachi sneaks into the Hyakukawa house to find out the truth and learns that Inako is being forced into an unwanted marriage with Yosuke for the sake of the family. Proof of Love
A Kyoto Imperial University student, Oshie Ainosuke, who is in love with Suzu, appears before Kihachi and his friends. What catches his eye is an invention from the Electric Catalog that supposedly reveals whether someone is in love with you! While Inako is excited about the prospect of Ainosuke and Suzu's romance, Suzu's best friend, Kate, has mixed feelings... Can electricity really reveal people's hearts?--!!

The sound of innovation
