Espresso in den Tod

Luca Rossi, half-Italian and passionate cook, is returning to his home village of Aschberg after years of traveling the world and refining his culinary art. In Aschberg, his half-brother Pipo and his foster mother Gina run a run-down pizzeria, which they use as a money laundering business for the Calabrian mafia. When a debt collector from the Mafia shows up, Luca is drawn into his family's criminal business. The corrupt mayor Martina Höpke is also interested in the Rossi family, for whom the property on which the pizzeria stands is the last piece of the puzzle in a lucrative investment project. There is also the beautiful village policewoman Tanja, who immediately attracts Lucas's attention.
