The Dorset Criminal Investigation Department are called to investigate a gang who have scammed a 71-year-old pensioner out of thousands of pounds worth of savings. What they discover turns a one off scam into a major international investigation trying to apprehend a gang of organised criminals who are preying on pensioners all over the UK.

Operation Ghoul
The RSPCA Special Operations Unit stumble upon a multinational illegal dog fighting ring being run by a known criminal from his home in Chigwell, Essex. The Officers kick off what turns into a mammoth investigation and with the aid of Essex police take the suspect into custody. During his arrest a mobile phone is found and becomes central to the hunt for justice.

Operation Mantle 2
After Wiltshire Police start to investigate the tragic death of a 71 year old woman at a retreat advocating alternative therapy, suspicion immediately falls on the self-proclaimed practitioner in charge. He considers himself a Godlike figure who can cure all ailments and disease - despite having no medical knowledge. He urges his devotees to discard Western Medicine to adopt instead an ancient Chinese therapy known as Paida Lajin, or Slapping Therapy. His victim had suffered from serious Type 1 diabetes stopped taking her meds whilst at his retreat.
