Episode 1
Bankrupt in the US, Mia flees to London hoping to keep up her high-end appearances. But back home, life has moved on. Mum Chrissy is caring for a teenage girl from her estate, and best friend Jo is getting married.
Unable to admit the shame of her situation, Mia finds herself in limbo. Things improve when a rare modelling job arises, but on arrival, she realises the grim reality of her job prospects.

Episode 2
Mia stifles her jealousy while meeting Ella, the girl now sleeping in her childhood bedroom. Later, she attempts use a glamorous party to land a modelling job. However, after the initial endorphin hit, she and Jo see the party for what it is - seriously grotty.
The pair eventually rescue a young model from a dangerous situation, only for it to ruin Mia's plan. Feeling lost, she seeks out her dad.

Episode 3
Mia struggles to keep a roof over her head using a high-end hustle. A welcome distraction comes in the shape of David, the rabbi's brother, who takes her on a date to a boujee hotel. Unfortunately, mum Chrissy, with the help of Ella, is starting to question how Mia is maintaining her lifestyle. Chrissy lands on a shocking answer and presents it to Mia publicly in the swanky hotel reception.

Episode 4
Back in 2014, Mia's at the height of her powers - and her spending. A visit from Jo reveals that their friendship is complicated.
In the present, Mia drives a wedge between them, raising suspicions about Jo's fiancé. Elsewhere, Mia needs convincing to pawn her expensive watch and save her dad Teddy from eviction. When she eventually buckles, she doesn't get the reception she'd hoped for from her dad.

Episode 5
Struggling to look after herself, Mia reluctantly steps up as guardian for Ella when Chrissy's taken ill. While charming Social Services, Mia inadvertently promises Ella a birthday bash, one that will double up as a reunion with her birth mother.
Broke and alone, Mia rekindles things with David just as a surprise windfall lands in her lap. Unfortunately, Mia with money doesn't necessarily help.

Episode 6
Jo's relationship is on the rocks, and when Mia arrives to pick up the pieces, their romantic tension comes to a head. Back at Chrissy's, David is making himself at home just as Mia's debts in America are catching up.
Real life for Mia has officially arrived. A timely invite from Liv offers the perfect distraction, and at a swanky party, ex-lover Rusty has a much bigger escape on offer for Mia.

The Terror
The Terror is an American anthology television series exploring historical speculative fiction based on true events.
The series is named after Dan Simmons's 2007 novel, which serves as the basis for the first season and is a fictionalized account of Captain Sir John Franklin's lost expedition to the Arctic in 1845–1848.
The second season, subtitled Infamy, bears no relation to the book or first season and is mostly set in an American-run Japanese internment camp during World War II.
