Zwischen Tod und Leben
In the tenth Spreewald thriller, Commissioner Krüger fights for the machinations of an energy cartel and for his life with a personal fault. Knut Hellstein stands at the door of Commissioner Krüger's caravan and asks him for his help. Working in the energy industry, he got into the gear train of her intrigue games. But Krüger has to recognize that Knut is not only a victim, but also an accomplice. Krüger promises to help Knut because he is still haunted by the personal feeling of guilt that he did not prevent the tragic suicide of Knut's father, Karsten Hellstein, at the time. Before Krüger meets an important informant, he is assassinated: his caravan is lit one night and burns out completely.
Krüger can just be saved from the flames by Fichte, but must be put in an artificial coma. The attack looks like an accident, but Krüger's team does not believe it and starts the investigation. Spruce and Marlene are slowly getting on the right track, while Krüger becomes „ conscious " in his coma dreams, whoever seeks his life. A race against time begins.
